Kinarido

At Kinarido, lunch is as much about the side dishes as the main course. One weekly special, for example, featured salt-seasoned fried chicken with grated daikon and ponzu, alongside a mushroom and pumpkin macaroni gratin, kinpira gobo, marinated deep-fried tofu, rice and miso soup. Scones are another good reason to linger after lunch or drop by for a café break. One diner who ordered a scone in the café described it as warm and fragrant with butter, and enjoyed it spread with cream and jam. Another customer chose a richly flavoured Earl Grey scone to take away; others have mentioned buying plain and strawberry scones to bring home.
